CEO & President

Ben Cook joined the organization as CFO in 2000, building the strategy and infrastructure needed to grow the company from one LASIK center to 27 in three years. He later become CEO and President in 2008 and has led double-digit growth over the past seven years. He previously served as CFO of a large company and spent 10 years as a CPA. He received a BS from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth.

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administrative Officer

Bill joined the organization in 2017. He has over 30 years of experience in finance and operations. In Bill's most recent roles he served as CFO and COO for Shoes for Crews, LLC, and as CFO for Pabst Brewing Company. He has also had experience in leadership roles at AT&T, RR Donnelley and Deloitte. Bill received his BS in Accounting from Illinois State University and his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Jim Wilder

Chief Information Officer

Jim Wilder joined the organization in 2016 as Chief Information Officer. He was formerly a Market Chief Information Officer at DaVita, a Fortune 500® company. Overall, he brings 20 years of executive experience, most of which in Healthcare. He has been an active speaker at industry forums on both technology and healthcare regulatory changes. He received his MBA with a specialty in Healthcare from the University of Miami School of Business.

Bryan Clarke

Chief Marketing Officer

Bryan Clarke joined the organization in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer. He has previous experience as Chief Marketing Officer at Shoes For Crews and VP of Brand Marketing at Pabst Brewing Company, after starting his marketing career at The Clorox Company. He earned his BA at Duke University and his MBA at the Fuqua School of Business (Duke University).

EJ Boschert

Chief Operating Officer, TLC Laser Eye Centers

EJ Boschert joined TLC in 1995 as the center director of TLC’s largest center in Mississauga, Ontario. With over 20 years of experience in ophthalmology and LASIK experience, she has been instrumental in the growth and development of TLC. She earned a BA from the University of Windsor.

Ronald Antoniewicz

SVP, Human Capital & Prof. Services

Ron Antoniewicz joined the organization in 2005 as VP of Human Resources and was promoted to SVP in 2009. He formerly served as VP of Human Resources at Eastern Mountain Sports. He has also held a Global Senior Management role with World Duty Free overseeing business in over 30 countries as well as senior HR and Operations Management roles with Macy’s Inc. and The May Department Stores Company. He has a BA in Economics from Rutgers University and is also SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified.

VP, Business Development

John Geary joined the organization in 2004 as a Business Analyst before being promoted to Director of Operations and later VP of Operations. In 2015, he became VP of Business Development to lead de novo, acquisition, and integration efforts. He has a BS from the University of Alabama and an MA in Applied Economics from Duke University.

Jonathan Simmons

VP, Sales

Jonathan Simmons joined the organization in 2010 to lead the Call Center Sales Team. In 2012 he became Director of Business Development and was promoted to VP of Sales in 2015. He has been instrumental in the development of new business revenue channels. He has previous Sales & Marketing experience from Hilton Grand Vacations and Holiday Inn Club Vacations. He received a BS from the University of Central Florida.

VP, Corporate Compliance & General Counsel

Lisa Melamed joined the organization in 2017 as the VP, Corporate Compliance and General Counsel. She formerly served as the VP of Corporate Compliance and General Counsel for the Laser Spine Institute. She joins the team with over 16 years of experience, most of which is in the health care industry. Lisa has a BS from the University of Miami, JD from the University of Florida, and Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Corporate Compliance at George Washington University.

Dr. Bill Tullo

VP, Clinical Services

Bill Tullo became a part of the organization in 1999. He is a board certified optometrist with 27 years of optometric and ophthalmic experience. He completed his BS at Stony Brook University and his OD at the SUNY College of Optometry.

VP, Real Estate & Procurement

Thomas Piteo joined the organization in 2006 and brings over 30 years of experience in construction and procurement. He formerly served as VP of Facilities and Development with Great Expressions Dental Centers, and was VP of Store Development for OfficeMax, Inc. Since 1988, he has successfully completed more than 38 million square feet of construction projects in North America and overseas. He has a BS in Civil Engineering from Cleveland State University, Fenn College of Engineering.

VP, Managed Care & Group Sales

Linck Bascomb joined the organization in 2015 as the Vice President of Managed Care and Group Sales. Prior to joining the company he was a founder and President of QualSight which developed the largest credentialed network of laser eye surgeons nationwide. He received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
